The Concept...
of Silverleaf Children's Academy initially was formed
in 2005 with the licensure of the Rochester location and is an
licensed educational childcare provider for the central
Illinois area with two current locations in Rochester and on the
West side of Springfield. The Rochester location currently enrolls
89 children 6 weeks to 12 years of age. The second location, on
the west side of Springfield, began operation in February 2009.
This facility is licensed to care for 56 children.
These two Silverleaf Children's Academy locations serve the needs
of at total of approximately 150 area children and their families.
The programs are high quality and offer services that local
families are seeking for their children. Specialized services at
Silverleaf Children's Academy include instruction in Spanish, sign
language, literacy and phonics, organic meal components, parent
hospitality services, and small class sizes.

of Silverleaf Children's Academy as a viable business
entity and early childhood educator is based on a vision, mission and
philosophy that are centered on consistently going beyond expectations
for the children and families we serve. The programs currently in
operation are only the beginning of what we hope to accomplish for
children and families in the central Illinois community and beyond
as we invest time, finances, and effort in improving these programs
and adding new locations in the future.
The services rendered to staff and families through Silverleaf Children's Academy are to be
dimensional and rich, giving these individuals, and the community at
large a program that produces a positive impact, both in the short
and long term. The vision set forward is focused on serving children
and their families in a manner that is consistent with recognizing
the importance of a well planned physical space, high quality staff,
and a curriculum based on both academic achievement and social and
emotional well-being. Additionally, Silverleaf Children's Academy
envisions excellence through offering special services to staff and
families to enhance their experience within our facilities.
